TaylorMade P790 Iron Set – Graphite

This model for the golfer looking for a stylish design with high speed, feel and very forgiving characteristics, is aimed at the low to mid handicap.
A forged 8620 carbon steel body paired with an extremely thin 4140 steel face and Thru-slot speed pocket make the design fast, flexible and forgiving despite its compact shape.
In the new P790 model, based on data analysis, the sweetspot has been made 60% larger and moved down the clubface to capture more good hits and provide better performance where the golfer needs it.
The speedfoam used in the new model is 69% less compact, allowing more weight to be moved out towards the edges giving the club more forgiving characteristics. It is also designed to dampen vibrations as well as create a satisfying sound.
A new design has made it possible to insert a 31 gram tungsten weight out towards the toe to make the club head more stable and therefore more forgiving.
